At LYF, we’re still overwhelmed with gratitude (and a little disbelief!) after being chosen as this year’s charity partner for Taste of Change, hosted by the legends at maathemis inc.
Through maathemis efforts, an incredible $33,000 was raised to support the teens in our program.
That’s not just a number, that’s real impact.
That’s more events we can run for Perth teens, more weekends filled with laughter and connection, more safe spaces where teens can be themselves, and more opportunities for them to dream bigger.
Why This Means So Much
Taste of Change isn’t just a night of amazing food and community spirit (though it’s definitely that too!), but it’s an event bringing the best out of Perth’s community.
By choosing LYF, maathemis inc. sent a powerful message to the teens in our program: you are not alone. The maathemis team and every person who showed up, donated or bid in the silent auction, has shown our LYF teens that their stories matter, that there’s a community cheering them on, and that bright futures are absolutely possible.

- Building stronger mentoring relationships that give teens a steady rock to lean on

- A huge 2026 events calendar including camp and big days out… maybe 2026 is the year you join us as a mentor!
